Both come off as mature and intelligent. But especially impressed with Ava, she really really gets it.

Even with the loss of Skylar and Katie, next year's team will have more talent than any team in the country. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't run the table in regular season. They will at least get to WCWS final. Book it!.

 

Think when Ava’s time as a Gator concludes she will go down as one of the best team leaders in Gator softball history. Super impressed by her.

 

Another will get dp assuming walsh plays 3b.

 

Yes her and the rest of these freshman are what this program needed again. 100% gator and great kids.

 

100% agree. If the team doesn't peak too early and continues to improve as it has done from the first of season to now, it wouldn't surprise me if UF makes it to the WCWS Final this season.

 

Someone with more knowledge needs to explain this to me. This is the problem with Brown at 1st base. When you have a game like this, she can not warmup properly if needed. In my opinion, as soon as you pull Rothrock for anyone you should pull Brown as well so she can prepare properly if the other pitcher doesn't perform. And that entire debacle started with a poor read by Goelz who hasn't played RF since when? That sub started the error train and Brown can't be expected to save you with the few pitches she gets moving from 1st to the mound...comments?

 

I get what you’re saying but I think it just comes down to the realities of our team currently. Us fans think in one game terms and CTW has to think about the series and the season. We simply don’t have depth at the pitching position but thankfully the young players we have are awesome! But still freshmen, hiccups will happen. Just don’t have a lot of options at that position. Is what it is.

 

Coach pulled brown out in the third inning for a pinch runner. That hurt them to not be able to pull her out like he has done in the past to allow her to warm up.

 

The future is bright!

 

Should have been out of that inning a lot earlier with the dropped ball at second then Wallace and Ariel running in to each other. Shouldn’t have had to have brown or miller come in. Tough for the young girls. Tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully they can forget it and come back strong.

Best defense in the nation made uncharacteristic mistakes that extended inning and didn’t help our young pitching staff.

Alabama lost to 0-6 Kentucky
so the sec is tough from top to bottom.
