(SB) Ongoing UF Softball Commentary

College softball is a hoot. You never know what is going to happen. Example: Jax just beat FSU. Gators crushed Jax 19 - 1 over two games.

 

Believe in miracles. Louisiana with Lexie and Sam are three outs away from beating Oklahoma. Cajins up by 1.

 

Sam just knocked in a run on fielders choice. 4-2 top of 7th

 

Oklahoma got 2 in 7th. Extra innings. Miracle slipping away.

 

La scores top 7 on error, OU ties it on an error in bottom 7, La takes lead partially due to error then Roe drives in 2 more unearned (her first hit of the game)

 

Down goes ou!!

7-5. Thank God UL didn't give it away again. Telling you.... I don't think OU wins this year. They jsut aren't as sharp as usual. Not jsut talking about this game... been several games. Congrats to UL and Roe.

 

Sam hit a 2 run single in the 8th. Drove in winning run. Good for her.

 

I’m very optimistic! I am going to sit back, watch this team learn and grow, and I am going to enjoy the ride.

 

For Skylar’s sake, I hope it happens this year. But that’s me being a Skylar fan

 

Fordham is bad. 5 & 10 and run ruled by both Jax & N Fla.

OU fans throwing tantrums over the ncaa softball page posting about Louisiana win. I just imagine the crying if Texas becomes the new number 1 in next weeks polls.

 

If Texas didn't have a loss I would say they would be.

 

The No. 4 LSU Tigers (19-0) went 6-0 in their own Purple and Gold Challenge — capped by a pair of grind-it-out games over McNeese (2-1) and Louisiana Tech — to become the nation’s only remaining undefeated team after UL upset previously unbeaten and No. 1 Oklahoma, 7-5

 

They won't go to 1 unless they play some actual teams and win. For all the talk of UF and Bamas schedule, LSU is right there with them. I figure LSU will do like always and be a super contender and that's it.
