I was listening to my goth music lol. Guys voice is deeper than mine. Sad the actual lady in this story is being sued for “compensation”. Where’s John Morgan when you need him?

 

I honestly don't know what the answer is to the bathroom issue, other than unisex bathrooms, but what about locker rooms? The trans person claims to have been traumatized because a coworker smacked the phone out of her hand. What about the woman who is in the locker room with a person who was born a male?

Don't harass and attack people in bathrooms. Hell, even when transgender people use the bathroom associated with their sex at birth, they're at risk of being harassed and attacked:

The world would be a better place if folks just minded their own damn business.

The last thing this “lady” wanted was people to mind their own business. Now she can seek compensation for her trauma.

 

Where are you getting your facts from? I read the news articles (including the New York Post), and none of them match your version of the events. Can you link me to the news article?

 

Right or wrong, we’ve all historically been brought up with and accepted the value that people of the opposite sex should have different bathrooms for privacy.

Now the rules have changed and everyone is supposed to accept intermingling of biological males and females in the bathroom. It’s really isn’t about gender. It’s about biological sex.

What does gender, which is now a “social construct”, have to do with bathrooms?

Seems to me they need to relabel the bathrooms “male” and “female” and this whole ridiculous issue is solved.

And why is it ok to film a woman in a locker room? Shouldn’t that be a line we don’t cross?

I really hate this issue. It is so freaking stupid.

 

Does it matter if they are? When you make these rules, you are subjecting everybody to them. Are you going to make exceptions in the rules for trans women who are feminine enough? How are we going to decide where to draw the line? And do you understand how that might be weaponized against cisgender women who are more masculine looking?

 

Especially for such a microscopic portion of the population

Our entire societal structure needs to be upended for the microscopic group with gender dysphoria?
Everyone is welcome to live their life as they see fit as long as it doesn’t interfere with everyone else. Got to believe for MOST women have a man in the same locker room/ shower room is going to be an interference.

 

Has there been a history of masculine looking cisgender women being attacked?

What about this young biological male person - 18 or over I knew. “She” declared “herself” a woman. Used a female name. Nothing remotely female looking or sounding about “her”. Most people other than her friends didn’t even know “she” was a “she”. Presumably this was a recent discovery by this person.

Should “she” be able to go into a woman’s bathroom? This person is more representative of the young trans people I have encountered.

I hate hate hate this stupid issue.

 

So a trans woman should be allowed to shower with bio women b/c showering with men makes her uncomfortable. But if bio women are uncomfortable they are bigots? Pretty sure this is NOT comfort maximizing.
