Some have a theory that they seeded Alabama 5th and gave them an easy regional, so that the two SEC teams would have to play each other in the first game, and the winner play OK.

 

Tennessee won handily. I just looked at scores. I’m not a Bama fan, with or without Fouts. I think Tennessee is worthy this year. They have stepped up big time.

 

I'm picking Stanford to win the elimination game vs Alabama.

 

No one will hold up against OK. I was excited watching Stanford. Can’t give up a single run against them.

With Same Roe entering the portal today, that is 3 highly ranked catchers that have transferred out in the last 2 years. Toss in that Sam, Julia, and Lexi were top 10 recruits in their own classes, how much can we rely on the incoming class to bring us back to prominence? Development and putting players in a position to be successful has become a problem in Gainesville in recent years. Sam Roe coming in a year early was such a disastrous move.

This is so out of the blue. Anyone have any more information on Alexia Carrasquillo? I know she opened her recruitment back up some time ago. It seemed at the time Florida was still an option for her. Is she still considering Florida or not? I saw she is uncommitted but the article was published in 2022.

One of them. Don’t know what happened. (FSU, LSU, GA, VOLS, Aggies, OSU and a number of others). Not sure how you go from committed to no interest. Maybe reading to much into the Tabs. She also participated in an FSU Camp.

First of all, someone needs to give me a badge or something for correctly guessing who you were talking about in that strange original post. Anyway, she is somewhat of an enigma. She decommitted earlier than 2022, possibly a reaction to Roe committing (how the worm turns on that). She carries a supposed elite reputation and I have seen nothing that justifies that. I believe she is a 2024 recruit and still uncommitted which is strange as elite 2024 kids were grabbed last Fall. I haven't seen a lot of her in travel and that's because she joins elite teams and never plays. A couple years ago she was on the Lady Dukes with Keagan and Layla. She almost never played as she was behind Keagan's favorite catcher, Lilly Valimont. She just disappeared mid-season. I don't know if she quit due to no playing time or if they got rid of her. Last year she turned up on the Batbusters-Stith roster but again, she virtually never saw the field. That about sums up what I know about her but none of that is reflective of an elite recruit.
