What day do you expect this Ivermectin loon to get there? What about Diamond? And Herman Cain? And all the other loons that refused to follow the science?

Lots of people who followed the science died also. Many more that didn’t.

It’s sad that you take peoples passing and use them to try and make a point like it’s the only thing that led to covid deaths.

Everyone isn’t correct all the time due to the many variables existing with covid, general health of people, underlying conditions etc.

    Regardless you go get ‘em.

    Yay team.

There were a lot of unknowns at the time. This guy was not even taking it for Covid.

You and your team are the ones who ignored science when it comes to Covid. I am not sure you will ever be able to admit it. But the data and facts are there now. We bungled this thing. Spent way too much effort trying to coerce an entire population to take a drug that provided some therapeutic help early on to the high risk groups. Then you add the idiotic policies of shutting kids out of school and the such.

You know how wrong we were. You just refuse to admit it.

It worked out exactly as Fauci said it would ... Early on he said he expected vaccines would be good for 6 months at most, but the important thing was slowing the spread so that hospitals were not overwhelmed while people developed natural defenses... It worked exactly how it was supposed to worked ... The fact that you can't admit that is not just ignoring the science, but ignoring the obvious...

I know it was, and it was nonsensical. People say many things I agree with and many I don’t.

It’s hilarious that Q is still allowed to post here considering the blatant misinformation he regularly peddles combined with the complete arrogance and dismissiveness of actual facts to go with it.

I have my own family story regarding "medicine".

My cousin, whom just passed, was 13 when he contacted polio.
Tragically he caught it about 60 - 90 days before the polio vaccine was made available in N Florida in the 50's.

He refused a wheelchair and hobbled around on crutches all his life.

He did not let polio conquer his life. He got a degree, became a H.S. Chemisty teacher in Ft Walton and served on the city council for years.

Q can spout all his anti science and anti medicine B.S until he croaks for all I care. Those that refuse medicine and vaccines will suffer 100X more, than those that do not. They want to dig their own grave? let them!

Ivermectin won a nobel prize. Ivermectin: a multifaceted drug of Nobel prize-honoured distinction with indicated efficacy against a new global scourge, COVID-19 - PubMed
It is a revolutionary treatment healing people from devastating parasites. Many medications throughout the years have had a positive effect on diseases they were not originally intended to cure. It's not horse paste like some morons continue to repeat.

Covid isn’t a parasite. It was determined that whatever measurable benefit ivermectin provided as covid treatment — mostly to people in India — was due to India’s unique parasite problems, and curing people of their parasites appeared to help them survive covid ..

Damn, man. That was for tropical diseases and animals. If you had read the second article below the one you linked, you would have learned that "IVM did not have an effect on AEs or SAEs and is not a viable option to treat patients with COVID-19."

But I might as well be talking to a wall here. Next time a virus comes along, ignore science and do your thing. I'm done with the topic.

Where? Is this a place/time/mentality when I wax Dunning-Kruger about a topic I'm far less educated and experienced with than, say, epidemiologists and other relevant professionals? Pretend that I'm remotely qualified to challenge said experts in witless quips where I claim "[person] wIlL gEt ThErE sOmEdAy?"

    Nah.

I grow tired of having self-appointed experts challenge what I professionally do for a living. It's grating. It's irritating.

I don't pretend to know more about the condition and maintenance of my teeth than my dentist.

I ensure that I follow my primary care's advice and care schedule.

In my professional life, I don't even pretend to know everything there is about well construction and decomissioning... because I don't. I still refer to literature. I still consult other professionals for their expertise and to challenge my own cognitive bias that may interfere with key decisions.

I most definitely don't arrogantly tell highly specialized professionals who have decades of training and experience how they're wrong without incredible evidence. I still entertain that it's likely I'm still ignorant enough to be coming to the wrong conclusion. It's shocking how many people have utter dismissal for expertise these days while likely taking offense when someone tells them how to do their job. Respect goes both ways.

Note: YouTube and far-right conspiracy websites aren't "evidence." Further, unverified claims from cranks isn't "evidence." If these accounts/people with to challenge a claim, there are valid and valuable ways to do it rather than blither nonsense in their safe spaces.

Unless you're a skilled professional in [field,] your opinion is worth precisely the bytes that store your prose on this forum. If you wish to challenge current understanding(s), construct a hypothesis and perform proper research with the skills/tools required to effectively execute said research. Publish it and have it peer-reviewed. If you can't/won't do that, sit down and let professionals handle it.

I fully understand....sort of like in the early days of covid stopping car accidents would have helped people survive covid, just think of how a cure for heart disease or cancer would have saved so many people from dying of covid.

And what do you make of TJ/Dad/etc and their drive by cherry picked spams they leave without any actual discussion? Plenty of dismissive arrogance to go around here.

    Feel better?

You will get there. Like the majority of doctors as well. They were lied to. It stinks what these idiots in public health have done. Real generational damage.

I 100% agree that you listen to your doctors. They are reality now as well. You might find a few in corporate medicine that continue to follow orders. But the majority of doctors know reality.

All you are really pointing out is how dumb it is to take ivermectin if you don't have parasite ... To complete your analogy, its like people who don't have cancer undergoing chemo just in case it might help with COVID...

When we have some constantly spreading misinformation and arrogantly reacting with a “laughing emoji” to every post with facts and actual peer review evidence presented, they quite frankly deserve all the crap they get back from us “liberals.” It’s nauseating and a waste of time arguing with these people, hence why I’ve blocked all of them before I say something I regret and get banned.

For what it’s worth I don’t think anyone on here is changing their outlook/stance/votes based on the discourse on this site. That would mean we are all a little arrogant/dismissive and that would be more my point. It isn’t one side and not the other. It’s everyone and it’s what keeps me coming back to the board honestly. Funny stuff all around.
