I don't know. It would take a crazy hot shooting night by someone on San Diego St or Creighton. Otherwise, Bama has a pretty clear path not only to the FF, but to the championship game, as both the 1 and 2 seeds are out in the bracket they would face. At the moment, it's looking like TN or Kansas St that Bama would face to make it into the championship game.

If Oscar wants to leave and doesn't go to the NBA, I'd take him in a heartbeat in Gainesville.

Also (sorry for not looking it up)...how many times in the last 5 or so years has it made it to second weekend?

 

The buyout is like 40 some million and it doesn’t go down drastically like I thought.
Honestly it’s been such a crap show I think we made the Elite 8 with Bam, Monk, Fox in either 17 or 18.

 

I get that UK fans have extremely high expectations, but I don't quite get what you're saying here. Is making the Elite 8 considered "crap" at the UK?

Nothing short of a final 4 is acceptable at UK, especially considering the caliber of athletes Cal brings in annually.

It's a problem that I would be happy to have.

 

I hope I'm never that jaded. It would suck all the joy out of life.

 

Heck that was 6 years ago and roughly 50 million in salary to our coach and assistants with little to nothing to show for it.

My frustration is not only the last 6 years but with how he formulated his rosters. He is not getting elite talent and these freshmen are still leaving and our older players are being forced out by freshmen we have coming in. I’ve said it for years now, Kentucky is not a job you can stay at long.
Kentucky is a stale product and it is not going to get any better until we blow things up and start over.

 

I am guessing that kids nowadays don't know who World Wide Web is. Cal is too old for them.

 

I picked UConn at the beginning of the tournament. I thought they were the best team we played this past year including Alabama.

 

I think it would take us a long time of that kind of success to become jaded.

I don't have that much time left so I'm not worried about that happening.
