Thanks for the clarification. Are you tired of all the stupid stuff the feds(atf) are passing that is nothing but legal fodder and will get shot down? Just more wasted tax dollars?

LOL, still can't get a grip on the hubbub. Is the big crime here that the transportation of illegals from the border to another part of the country was done publicly instead of the dead of night, or just that there was a red politician involved?

Because it was straight up illegal according to Florida law. No worries though, the legislature passed a law making it legal for him to traffic human beings FROM anywhere TO anywhere.

Interesting question. Are you saying you’re okay with DuhSantis paying a donor over $600,000 of taxpayers dollars to fly 48 Venezuelans to Martha’s Vineyard? I may be wrong but I doubt it costs around $13,000 per person to make such a puddle jumper flight except to toss a bone to a buddy.

Although I think he's an a-hole too, at least Gregg Abbott's policy of transporting immigrants from Texas to blue states makes sense since their presence in Texas could conceivably impose a financial burden of the taxpayers of Texas. In case of DeSantis and Florida, there shouldn't be any doubt that it's an irrational political stunt when the affected immigrants are being transported from Texas to Martha's Vineyard having never set foot in Florida do not impose a burden on taxpayers and the fact that virtually every Republican legislator is supporting legislation to legalize the stunt doesn't speak much their ability to think independently. Just a guess but I suspect the Governor Ron probably told them either explicitly or implicitly that he would try to primary them if they didn't go along with the legislation, the same with his Reedy Creek stunt.

Odd that you don't see DeSantis shipping Cubans that are in Florida illegally out of the state, isn't it.

It wouldn't surprise me if DeSantis proposed returning to the former policy under which all Cuban immigrants who set foot in the US are considered eligible for asylum by definition and as such are immediately entitled to legal status.

Utter BS. A government leader spending money on legal things is very different than a government leader spending money on illegal things. What you will do to try to rationalize DeSantis is mind blowing.

You’re very argumentative today. You strike me as a Philly kind of dude. Seems like you’d be in a better mood.

Just to set the record straight, the "illegals" transported during the dead of the night were unaccompanied minors being transported to facilities better able to accomodate them.
Not that you will, but you can always educate yourself on the issue by clicking on the link below or alternatively continue to believe the narrative from Republican politicians and Fox New infotianment stars.

    Male' Maldives
In the big picture of life, where I live or where any one else lives, holds the highest irrelevance of any focus ever.
However, I have lived in these following utopian tropical islands over my lifetime:

    Grenada
    St.Vincent and the Grenadines
    St.Croix
    Turks and Caicos
    Seychelles
    Gili Lankanfushi Maldives
    Himmafushi Maldives
    Soneva FushiMaldives
    Konotta Island Maldives
    Male' Maldives

Have been to on numerous occasions over the years:

    Bangkok Thailand 13 times
    Phuket Thailand 6 times
    Malaysia 2 times
    Sri Lanka 16 times
    Trinidad and Tobago 2 times
    Puerto Rico 4 times
    St. Lucia 2 times
    Mahe Seychelles 12 times

Stationed in the following places over 12 years:

    Lackland AFB TX (San Antonio)
    Chanute AFB Illinois (Rantoul)
    England AFB Louisiana (Alexandria)
    Macdill AFB Florida (Tampa)
    Osan AFB Korea (Songtan City)
    Camp Humphreys Korea (Pyongtaek)
    Falcon AFB Colorado (Colorado Springs)

Between age zero and 18 lived in the following places:

    Born in North Hollywood California
began life in Simi Valley California
moved to Ambridge Pennsylvania moved to Montgomery Alabama moved to Atlanta Georgia moved to Pensacola Florida.

Currently live very close to a few posters here in Florida that would be shocked knowing I am the one they have berated all these years! :)

There you go. Mystery of my homes of record solved...now about A2 and how it encourages murders and accidental deaths across this "blessed" country of ours! A 2 year old died with a self inflicted gunshot...A 6 year old shoots his teacher...that is all.

If you clicked on the linked article which your apparently didn't bother to do you would also be aware that your idol, the former president with the orange complexion transported unaccompanied minor migrants to a much greater extent than did Biden.

    Thanks for the run down.
But I think the rest of your post might be in the wrong thread….
As for the A2 - please provide ANY proof that the A2 ENCOURAGES murders and or accidental deaths. No emotional gobbligook or how you feel or what you think.. proof to back up your statement.
    Or
If you would like to get back on topic about Desantis and taxes…you living in Florida vs Grenada would give me far more reason to actually consider your stance.

The last part of my post blew right over the top of your head. In case you missed it..its called an opinion and a well founded opinion and was as pertinent a response as your concern for where I have lived.

Florida is more expensive than Grenada. There you have it. Dude.

So no proof of anything. Well done
Of course you are welcome to your opinion. It’s just most people posting in this form try to stay on the topic of the thread.. instead of wandering all over the place.
And again.. living in Florida would seem to make one’s opinion of the politics in Florida more pertinent.
Just admit you temporarily forgot what thread you were posting in and move on.
And why the hostility “dude”? I sincerely thought you were still in the Maldives.. or whatever island you were on back in the day.

Canada Tells NYC Mayor Eric Adams To Stop Sending Them Illegal Immigrants (thegatewaypundit.com)

Last week it was reported that New York City was giving taxpayer-funded bus tickets to Canada to illegal immigrants.

Then it was reported that some of the immigrants who went to Canada turned back when they learned Canada is really cold in winter.

Now Canada is telling NYC Mayor Eric Adams to stop sending the immigrants to Canada.

All of a sudden, everyone who claimed to want to give sanctuary to illegals is against illegals
Earlier this month, The Post exclusively reported that Adams was using taxpayer funds to get bus tickets for migrants in the Big Apple to travel upstate to Plattsburgh.

From there, migrants take taxis and vans to a cul-de-sac at the end of Roxham Road in Champlain, where they walk across the border and surrender to Canadian Mounties to seek asylum, as The Post documented on Feb. 5…
