Yes they pushed an unnecessary bivalent booster with 8 mice (Pfizer) being the basis. Well Moderna was 12 mice I believe.

Had to make sure they could produce antibodies so they could sell people like you.

My brother in law still makes his 5 year old mask up.
It’s sad when he shares pics of her at school, aquarium, etc and she’s masked.
    Enough is enough

Let's see the link that shows the Bivalent booster was only tested on a few mice.

Doesn’t how how many mice they were tested on. They’ve been tested on millions of Americans.

THE FACTS: The basic fact is actually true — the preliminary findings presented by Pfizer were based on tests in eight mice.”

Now you can keep reading and fall for the propaganda if you choose. They are and were not concerned about safety….

If you actually read your own link you would have noted that although the bivalent booster was initially tested only eight mice it really didn't matter because the vaccine was based on a previous version shown to be safe and effective.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: FDA Authorizes Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccines for Use as a Booster Dose

To evaluate the effectiveness of a single booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent for individuals 18 years of age and older, the FDA analyzed immune response data among approximately 600 individuals 18 years of age and older who had previously received a two-dose primary series and one booster dose of monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine. These participants received a second booster dose of either the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine or Moderna’s investigational bivalent COVID-19 vaccine (original and omicron BA.1) at least 3 months after the first booster dose. After 28 days, the immune response against BA.1 of the participants who received the bivalent vaccine was better than the immune response of those who had received the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine.

The clinical study that evaluated the safety of a booster dose of the bivalent vaccine (original and omicron BA.1) included approximately 800 participants 18 years of age and older who had previously received a two dose primary series and one booster dose of the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, and then at least 3 months later, received a second booster dose with either the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine or Moderna’s investigational bivalent COVID-19 vaccine (original and omicron BA.1).

People aren’t good at assessing risk. That goes regardless of political affiliation. The problem for those that are risk averse and maybe not statistically educated or well informed.

In my case throughout the pandemic I was always looking at infection and serious relative numbers for me and kids and comparing them to other risks we accept, and would form my decisions based upon that.

If you have not noticed we have plenty of observational safety signals. Booster away for a shot you don’t need if you wish. Based on seroprevalence…just don’t push it on others.

People are terrible at assessing risk and Big Pharma and the government took full advantage…

Will you change your stance if over time it becomes apparent that for some people getting the Vaccine actually had a significant risk of a bad outcome?

As I have noted in the past the FDA has approved numerous medications over the year based on trials that were totally completed but once the drugs were dispersed to larger populations unknown risks became evident and quite a few of those medications were subsequently removed from use after being billed safe and effective.

Although they're different vaccines, 13.2 billion doses have been administered so far. Any risks not revealed in the clinical trials would have been revealed by now. So far the risks include the extremely rare occurrences of blood clots in women of child-bearing age from the J&J and AstraZeneca vaccines and myocarditis from the mRNA vaccines, also rare and usually is usually resolved within a couple of months.
