Right. It's just spite at that point. We can't create that look.

Are agents in contact with the school at all? I seriously doubt this. It's all done via proxy.

This just reinforces the fact that a Coach has to have some actual ability to coach and improve players. We're going to have to deal with a lower level of talent for a while and coaching ability is where we need the focus to be in the interim. We are going to have to win with lesser talent.

does it really matter if it was the agent or the proxy. unkess he is holding another backup offer its a ploy to get more. if some other school is negotiating through back channels is that tampering?

Until you coach them up and they get noticed and someone comes in with a sweet nil package and they transfer.

Rashada did not look that impressive in the all star game. Makes me wonder if he is trying to regain leverage by shitting all over UF.

Agree 100%, it is sad how quickly the whole recruiting thing went from stupid (e.g. hidden hats under the table) to totally unmanageable.

Haven't posted in a while but if this is true (who knows if the dad stuff is correct or not) I would NOT release him and allow him to burn his one time transfer and I hope other coaches join on it too. I wonder how many coaches are going to say "screw this " and stop coaching college or go down a lower level.

It’s been posted a dozen times now, but he gets a free transfer anyway. He can leave and be eligible to play next year whether we release him from his loi or not.

More than likely the ncaa lets him out of loi anyway and restores his freebie. Whether it’s his doing or not.

Curious to know why you want to change the title. This thread's title is word-for-word the same as the headline of an article from the On3 site which was posted approximately 3 hours ago. I get that you don't like what is going on, pretty sure that is the opinion shared by everyone here, but sharing information and opinions, both good and bad, is the raison d'être of a message board.

that Heitner guy looks like he's 2 years removed from law school.
also someone over on locked thread responded to me saying that the UAA has nothing to do with NIL. Laughable. Officially it may not but unofficially, you better believe they are in loop, sync every step of the way and process along with whatever deal is on table.
I don't fault our head coach in this. Egg on our face at depths we have never had.

Can you change the thread title to something generic? Like “Rashada Situation”

Probably because Jaden’s father has debunked this article. Along with the fact that on3 has been known to rush a report out whether its true or not.

Because there has been a MORE RECENT ARTICLE” literally refuting what the On3 article said. Straight from Rashada’s father’s mouth. Then On3 reported that Rashada’s father has said it’s not true.

Therefore your thread title is 3+ hours old and things have changed.
