I’ll take a QB with a great third down conversion rate over one with a great 40 time any day of the week.
What do you do if Miller blows up the bowl game? Do you not take a portal QB and run with Miller ,Brown and Rashada at least through the spring game and see if one is needed then and see who is available during the second portal window.
Did anyone think zaire was going to be any good? He had 3 years of mediocre tape coming here, I don't remember anyone being that excited about.
That's an interesting question. Like Wanne said I doubt we roll with just 3, but what decent QB would come if it looks like we have a starter and stud true freshman coming in that will probably want some playing time. I guess maybe it comes down to how comfortable are they with Engel?
Not sure if he can play tight end or something, but it amazes me how some are talking him up based on his HS stats. He just doesn’t look the part to me.
That was when many people thought AR was the second coming of Cam Newton. Miller was expected to be a reliable backup. The coaches said had a great spring until the O&B game.
He was never beating AR out this year or any year 1. So it was always compete with transfer in 2022-2023 if AR leaves 2. Compete with sophomore in 2023-2024 if AR stayed In both cases Miller was the underdog in that battle
I was worried watching him in the spring game. More time getting a high completion rate in practice!!! Looking forward to more gator football!!!
