Maybe I confused Trent with Braun.

Thank you. Well said. You are so right on when you say nobody knows what happened in the locker room or what happened in general. Nobody here knows what Trent was told. I’ve said this same thing before.

Your idea of a decent amount early and mine are different.

    There's a shock lol
I would consider getting close to double digit snaps on offense a decent amount for a backup....especially when UF wasn't getting many offensive snaps early in the season. Add in he was backing up our best wr threat who was very productive

But he was number three on the depth chart by the time he announced his transfer.

3rd on depth chart and not playing at all. I can break it down again. There were 3 games he didn’t see the field ( as I mentioned 2 weeks ago).

I'd rather keep the Gainesville kids talented enough to make the roster regardless if they're "stars" or not. For what it's worth while Whitt may not be a centerpiece receiver I imagine his sure handedness would have helped given all the dropsies we had the last few games. I sure as hell would have rather seen him targeted against fsu rather than bowman and company with the exception of Pearsall. But he quit on the team so the point is moot.

Agree 100% on keeping kids local local.
Jaren Hamilton from Bucholz is one I’m disappointed we missed on. Kid can flat out play.

"Announced" being the key word. It was done a good bit earlier from my understanding

And I can break it down for the umpteenth time as well.....he was playing as the backup and then there was a parting of the ways. He hung around a few more games before qutting.
Wright was 4th on the depth chart and they quit playing him, but he didn't quit during the season.

In 30% of games he didn’t touch the field. That’s a fact.

I simply cannot fathom how you cannot grasp that he was playing regularly as a backup until there was a parting of the ways and he didn't play again other than a senior day cameo. It was over, he was leaving....he just didn't stick out the season like Nayquan, Collier, McMillon and many others that will leave.
    It's not that hard

The numbers say he was not playing. Look at snaps for each game. He never played regularly. Never. There were several games he did not touch the field, meaning didn’t play at all.

We get it, you are unable to grasp the point. I won't bother trying to explain it to you yet again.
Fact, he quit before the end of the season. Nayquan did it right, Trent didn't.

Yeah, you’re right. There are probably layers to it and never know what advice he may have received

One thing we do know....Napier specifically commented about the problem of kids hitting portal during the season, and he is absolutely right
