I acknowledge that this has a low probability of happening, but if he does I have some questions:

    1) Will he be fully committed to running this offense? Many have questioned his commitment consistency, especially regarding running the ball. If he doesn't go it will be due to his passing. Will he push to focus on.that in games?

    2) Do.we.have a coach that can develop him in the off-season? I know we have a coaching army, but who is the QB coach and does he have the chops?

    3) How would it affect our success in the portal/recruiting?

Again, I know this is probably a hypothetical but humor me.

Then hopefully Rashada or another QB beats him out for the starting spot.

    He's gone anyway.

If AR comes back there is a good chance that another qb on the roster that is a faster and more decisive decision maker, and more accurate beats him for the starting job. He won't risk it. Portal or NFL

There is no way in hell any QB on the roster is beating him out for the job.

He would probably be better, but in the end we are not going to win the SEC next year.

So I would prefer a freshman/sophomore true QB who is accurate to play next year and leads us to 8-5 and complete for a SEC title in '24.

If he comes back I’ll welcome him and hope he takes a big leap in his 2nd season starting.

He'll run even less next year?

I'm joking but if he's gonna be making "business decisions" next year, maybe it's best we part ways. And for the record, I wouldn't blame him one bit for making those "business decisions."

NFL drifts on potential. He’s gone to have a short career as a backup. Gladly eat my words if wrong.

I'm just not that optimistic. He looks almost exactly like he did last year under Mullen, and I can't tell where he's made any real progression this season.

He is obviously committed. It’s crazy to question his heart.

Not sure about coaching. More about molding the O to his skill

    It won’t impact recruiting

I wonder how he’d look w legit weapons at WR and TE

I think if Copeland and the TE that transferred had stayed we’d have won a few more games.

Cope was drama but AR loved him over the top

I'd welcome him back. With better receiver weapons he will shine. He needs maturity to lead and would love to see him reach his potential under this new staff vs somewhere else where they will say our system was the problem.

I put many of his issues caused by our coaching and play calling

it (that fact) still does not negate the probabilities that he goes pro or transfer.

I think his competitive instincts kick in in the heat of the battle, but when you are on a 6-5 team, you are NOT going to go all out every play when you are stone’s throw from the pros.

He can't read defenses and is totally inconsistent as a passer. Potential is only potential
