Gator fans are emotional and they care about our gators. For me, I don't really put blame on the players. Coaches on the other hand well... I only say this because of what SOS used to say. He would always say it's their fault for not coaching the players good enough to win.

If you dream of wowing the masses these days, this isn't going to cut it. You need to emphasize that your failed struggle to pick up a yard on fourth down left you with PTSD and you're going to hand off the ball more from now on.

I dont really care about a quote after a loss. Just hope he brings his A game for one last time. Always nice to go out on a winning note (assuming no bowl for AR).

The quote sounds like something from Dan Mullen's mouth.

Don't underestimate the damage that his negligence and attitude did to
    these players.

I have said over the last couple of weeks that I think AR is getting some bad information from agents and the media hype. If he will really get first round money, he should most definitely go and I certainly won't blame him and wish him all the success.

My personal feeling is that other than his raw athleticism, AR really hasn't even proven himself to even be a high level FBS QB. He doesn't seem to read defenses very well and while he has a strong arm, he's not a particularly accurate thrower. And if his first passing option isn't open, he doesn't seem to work down his progressions quickly. His success is really limited entirely on his ability to be a realistic threat to run. If he can't at least slow down a defense by running the ball, that helps him in the passing game.

The QBs who do well in the NFL are the ones who are smart and are quickly able to read the coverage and go through the progressions. Not 1 of the top 10 QBs right now, outside of maybe Mahomes and Allen, are really freakish athletes. And both of them are very good at reading defenses. I'm not sure we've seen many NFL QBs in the history of the NFL that succeeded without that ability. And I'm not sure processing information QUICKLY is a skill that can really be taught.

I hope all the best for AR, regardless of his decision, but I'm just not convinced, despite what the media or agents tell him, that an NFL team is actually going to spend a first round pick on a project like AR. He'll surely get drafted just for his pure athleticism, but I think he could become a better NFL prospect by coming back for another season. Just my opinion.

No but as it being our standard barer of success and the highlight of Gator football lore I would hope he would at least strive to emulate TT and his passion to uplift his teammates

Maybe he does. We fans know very little about AR's leadership in the lockerrm, in the classrm, out and about, etc.

But we need it on the sidelines, while the bullets are flying and they're in the middle of battle. I like the guy but it don't help to talk about the game to the team after they've lost. If he's emulating TT in the least it wouldn't be a secret behind doors ordeal when he lifts up his team. Otherwise he isn't trying to emulate TT, NC TT would try to get his teammates tonleave it all on the field too. How manybtimes did we see TT roam up and down the field getting in everyone's face from offense to the defensive guys.

Bullets are flying? In the mddle of battle? That's funny. But, your point about on the field & sideline leadership during the football GAME is valid

Let him go. He's unconcerned about winning and losing. That isn't a leader.

Everyone cried for him to be the starter and criticized Mullen for not playing him . NFL? What position is he going to switch to ? TE?

I agree it is a game although I will say 6' 4 260 pound mountain of muscle hurts a hell of a lot more than the thimble piece on a monopoly board, figured battle was a bit of a better comparison with regards to potential battles cars and physical injuries.

we got down to the illegible and dumber bits of the post quickly here

the part when we directly compare Tebow to AR and then get mad when reality gets in the way

That's what happens in one score games typically. The miracle 1-score run BN had in Sunbelt won't happen here

AR's quote & body language did not yield 45 pts to the Nolies last night. This 2022 Gator team had issues, but QB leadership was not near the top of the list.
