    This.

Any time UF stacks the box and shuts down the run against a bad/average QB we all applaud it. Vandy just stacked the box vs UF... There is nothing anyone here could say that would speak louder than that.

He’s a kid that statistically had an excellent game today even though the game plan was awful. Even the interception should have been caught and don’t forget his receivers dropped six balls today. Whoever is calling those sideway passes please stop. And also remember as the head coach you are the one that is calling the plays
on this team so please start telling your quarterback to keep the ball on the zone read and please start running quarterback power. I have no idea why no one on this board is calling out the coach for not running the quarterback power. That’s not a play that the quarterback just calls on his own

The 5 dropped passes were not missiles. This loss is not on Anthony

25-42-400-3 tds and an interception that his own receiver should have been caught. Those are big time numbers.

Thank you, I had him at 25 for 42 for 400 yards with six drops. I cannot believe the number of people that continue to blame Anthony. Bad game plan and without Anthony today we lose by three touchdowns

The weirdest thing for me this game is that we didn’t try to run outside at all. And I’m not sure why. Up the middle was clogged up but we just kept doing it over and over.

First, gator fans didn’t make fun of the Brian Kelly hire - they rightly mocked his fake southern accent at his intro to Lsu pep rally. So did the rest of college football. We also laughed at him grinding on recruits in his recruit videos. The hiring of Brian wasn’t laughed at.

Chip Kelly? His team will likely finish ranked - big deal. He would have been fired after 3 seasons if he had that record (10-21) at UF. After 5 seasons (to date) even with his success this year he is still just 26-27 - a loser.

I would counter with how awful is the game plan if we are talking about dropped passes and missing open receivers? Is the game plan to drop balls? Is the game plan to over throw go routes?

    Prattvile, AL-Go Lions!
I noticed that some of the posters that were criticizing CTG and the BB team last night are on this forum doing the same thing to CBN and the football team.

Johnson's drops were absolutely due to too much juice. But, yea, this loss isn't really on the qb. OLine played poorly, ST, and dumb penalties. Basically, a team loss all in all.

Yep. Bad offensive game plan that clearly wasn’t working the first 2 series. It felt like …hey, they are expecting the run, so let’s show off Anthony’s arm.

Like CD said at halftime. We are not good enough to experiment things with another SEC team. Regardless if it’s Vandy.

Brian Kelly = real head ball coach. Billy Napier = learning on the P5 job.

    Who is that on?

    numbers for AR were excellent
    60% passing
    400 yards
    3 tds
1 int which was thrown where only his guy could catch it.

Agree, but Zook was arguably the stronger recruiter.

This is every game - all inside runs unless AR goes wide. Zero outside runs to running backs all season.

I've been saying that for years. In the SEC, throwing behind the line of scrimmage is a wasted down. Design pass patterns that are downfield for + yardage.
