Romney would never get the nomination, he's horrible. Pence stands a better chance than Romney and Pences chances are slim and none

Politicians need to be held to answering direct questions with direct answers.
This is what I get from just about every "interview" of a politician. Let's start with Pence...questioner asks "why do you support A2?" Pence replies with "first off I am a Christian first, father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, dog owner 2nd, politician 3rd. Thank you for your Hoosier question. Happy to see you as all of us God fearing Hoosier are."

And for every forthcoming question insert same reply. This pattern applies to all MAGA attendees and some of the rest. We need to press the responses given or just don't interview them at all. Desantis included.

And you are all things left which means you to have your bias. But You guys think its the other side all the time. Thus the fruitlessness of trying to have conversations anymore.

The right is evil in your eyes. Bigoted. Intolerant etc. There is no conversation to be had so in some cases, with some posters, I'm done trying.

Did you watch the interview? You thought those were softball questions with no answers?

Only a biased position would say that.

No. I know a great deal about basketball. Both on the court and from the stands. What we all know about you is that you pretty much ran White out after 5 minutes and did nothing but complain for years. My guess is one loss will now bring the same.

As for the second part, my career path proves otherwise. I've dedicated my life to serving the underserved.

But you go on solving problems from a message board.

Some of you should thank me.

I have cons laughing at the OP.
I have Dems laughing at the OP.
I have cons liking the OP.
I have Dems liking the OP
    I have cons ripping Pence.
    I have Dems ripping Pence.

    Unity!:D

Funny thing is, i find the ones liking it on both sides are often the most reasonable to have discussions with.

Other than his anti-Trump stance, in what way do you think Romney is horrible? Romney’s politics have been uncompromisingly conservative. His sole “crime” is not bending the knee to the Trump.

I'm sure this is what you told yourself in 2016 when people tried convincing you that Trump was exactly the sort of terrible person you later realized he is.

I would have been impressed if Pence had conceded after the election and shut down Trump's big lie. That would have taken real courage.

Instead, Pence participated in the nonsense for months. That he didn't try one last, obviously stupid maneuver gets him no credit in my eyes. And certainly not considering, even then, he still didn't come out and hold Trump to account--let alone take responsibility for his own actions.

OTOH, after a few years of the corrupt trump circus, he’s not afraid to admit his vote was misplaced. The bandwagon is large. Welcome him aboard

It's amazing how dark this timeline has gotten that I have to agree with the OP that pence is probably one of the few "decent" republicans left at this juncture with some interest in the white house. I wish he would have spoken up earlier, but hey, better late than never. Time to exorcise the party republicans.

I'd welcome him aboard the bandwagon, if he was on it. Instead, he's willing to throw his support behind Ron DeSantis. That's why I'm bringing up Trump.

All your links were figuratively using basement simply because he didn’t run live rallies. The only one who was literally in a basement was cowardly Trump. Let me know if you need help with the vocabulary difference between figurative and literal.
