Mordecai McDaniel? Washington, DC? He left program this past summer.

No problem, man. Yeah, like all former Gators in the Transfer Portal, I wish him the best and thank him for his time.

Not all HBC use that feature. I haven't looked at what his backs did at La but I do agree we need to use them because guess what, everyone else is and if your defense doesn't practice against it play after play, they will never be prepared to defend it.

Thanks for the breakdown. It’ll be interesting for sure. Don’t forget the guys that will declare for the draft.

It’s just scholarships so no they don’t count until they show up on campus.

If the limit is 85 scholarships, what's to stop a school from giving players NIL contingent on paying their own way and having as many as they want on the team?

(edit: yes, I realize the school itself doesn't give NIL money, but the question remains)

It is a little convoluted but a max of 105 players(including walk ons) is the number.
How Many Players on a College Football Team.

So 20 walk ons. If you can convince 20 guys who are good enough to receive a NIL, have at it.

BYU found a sponsor to pay walk on tuition.

Hmmn, the way you are posting seems to overlook that our previous staff did recruit SOME talent:

    Members of the 2018 class:
    Kyle Pitts
    Jacob Copeland
    Dameon Pierce
    Evan McPherson

But I agree there have been a lot of recruits that didn't work out for us.

Yes, that 19 number is a net number. 19 must go, regardless of how.

Previous Mullen staff did not recruit that talent. Kyle Pitts and Dameon Pierce were Coach Seider recruits that he secured verbals from prior to Mullen trying to move him to TE coach and forcing him to take the RB position coach at Penn State. Mullen was very fortunate

clearly, I was not referring to the greatest TE of all time and 3 NFL players when I mentioned recruiting “misses”. :)

Plus you can only travel 70 to away games and while the money is nice these kids are competitors and actually want to play
