Hey everyone, My name is Travis originally from Jacksonville, Florida now up here in Rochester, Minnesota for work and my fiancé. Was introduced to Gator football by my dad. Unfortunately, my dad passed away in August. With my dad gone not too many people to talk to Gator football especially here in Minnesota. Go Gators beat Vandy!!

Sorry for your loss @tdkrn12. I lost my father in 2013 and like you, I moved to the Northeast from Jax 13 yrs prior to that. Gator football was one of the few common denominator passions we had between us. Some of my most cherished memories are the 30 minutes we would talk post game by phone, breaking down what we just watched. There is definitely a bond here. Welcome aboard! Go GATORS!
I’m quite familiar with Minnesota. For 32 years I worked for Northwest Orient Airlines and home for NWA was in the Twin Cites, Minneapolis/St. Paul. Spent various times there over the years on company business and training, etc. I learned a lot about Minnesota and the people there. Loved the people and the State there!
Joke above aside I feel ya. Grew up a Gator because of my Dad and got to live in Gville when he went back for his LLM. I got tempted to a small liberal arts college but never lost my Gator love. Lost him to Pancreatic cancer in 2018 but this forum keeps me connected. You grow used to the eclectic conversations, intentional misspellings, outright eccentricity, etc, and grow to love it. But seriously, if a thread ever reaches 136 pages. . . skip that page.
