After the game and beat down is over we get to hear Jimbo say at the press conference:

The offensive game plan was excellent, our players just did not execute.

For Bama, Bryce Young to start will be a game time decision, but their backup Jalen Milroe is VERY good, so they will be fine.

As to Texas A&M....they have a freshman QB Conner Weigman who has not played one snap yet but check out his bio:

HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by David Raffield at Bridgeland High School ... Rated as a 4-star prospect by all three major outlets and the No. 1 quarterback by Rivals and ESPN ... Was a 2022 Under Armour All-American ... As a senior, led Bridgeland to the 6A Region II championship game ... Accumulated 34 touchdowns and nearly 2,900 total yards during senior season ... Led Bridgeland to the state quarterfinals and was named the Houston Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Year ... As a junior, was named the District 16-6A Offensive Player of the Year after recording 51 touchdowns, 42 passing and nine rushing, and throwing for more than 3,800 yards while rushing for an additional 581 yards ... As a sophomore, garnered District 16-6A Newcomer of the Year as he posted 34 total scores, 27 passing and seven rushing, to go along with over 3,200 total yards ... Named to the Elite-11 Finals ... Was a multi-sport athlete that was also rated as one of the top baseball prospects in Texas.

King will most likely get the start.

Haynes King finished the game under center.

Johnson, a transfer from LSU, lost the starting job to King in fall camp, but was inserted into the lineup after Week 2 in an attempt to provide a spark to an Aggies offense that was struggling in the downfield passing game. Johnson has thrown for 494 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions since taking over, leading the Aggies to back-to-back wins over Miami and Arkansas -- both of which were ranked in the top 15 at the time.

King was benched after tossing three touchdowns and two interceptions in the first two games, including the 17-14 home loss to Appalachian State. He was 6 of 13 for 49 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions in relief of Johnson last week. Despite that, Fisher is confident that King is ready to lead the Aggies offense.

I have a feeling Bridgeland did not see a defense quite as good as BAMA, but I could be wrong........... :p

Then again, considering the other QB's at TAMU this season have been "stinkin" it up under Jimbo, he may be an improvement.
