Well said. He’s top 5 QB in his schools FHSAA class. Only one at top where the overall team has a bad record. So it’s not him. How old are the linemen on team? He has a 4.5 yard per carry.

Kid will arrive in 2022. At best he sees field in 2024, Likely 2025 after red shirt. If any gator fresh QB sees significant time as a freshman the team’s in big trouble

Jalen Kitna had some lean years in high school with a bunch of interceptions and 50+% completion rates his sophomore and junior years. It wasn't until his senior year at Burleson High that he put it together with his receivers and had a great TD/Int ratio of 33/3. His completion percentage was only 62%. Instead of stats I think you have to look at growth and maturity of a QB regardless of the weapons he has around him. I don't expect Kitna to be a career 50%-62% college career passer, as some suggest is the case with a passer, being who they are. Kitna looked really good in his cameo. He and Stokes still have a lot of development to complete, as is the case for all young QB. Those EWU QB looked pretty good. A college and private QB coaches makes a big difference.

Personally, I would never recruit a QB with a completion percentage lower than 90%.

I and my girlfriend at the time went to a practice when Sabelhaus was at UF. After watching him during a scrimmage, I turned to her and said, "He'll never play a down at UF." I didn't see what everyone else thought they saw to make him such a highly regarded recruit, and I'm not a coach.

Seems weird we have a thread about "a guy at the game" saying a qb with several P5 offers is a 1 star Div III talent. Sounds like a professional there, maybe Mike Tomlin would hire him.

Anyways, we know he's raw, lost a lot on his hs team, we know it wasn't a 1st choice "sure star" there, but staff saw enough to decide it's worth it to take a chance on him, being a big gator and important for jax recruiting. He's going to be a Gator, and if a good qb from any class wants to come we'll take them, and it looks like those are in the 24 and 25 classes.

We need scouts and recruiters like you. I have always said, the only thing holding Florida football is Florida football. That's why I say, we need to recruit robot QB's.

Nowhere near the athlete Driskell was not a strong arm. Jeff would have started had he stayed another year.

Well there you go, "a guy" said Stokes sucks. That's all I need to know. Now, from that one time comment from " a guy " about a 17 year old high school kid, Stokes will suck 24 months from now despite finishing in the Top 10 in the Elite 11 Camp. He won't get better, stronger or change his underwear for two years. So whatever his high school record is now, it will be the same at Florida.

This isn’t about a guy from 1994. OP mentions some idiot tearing in Stokes, a 3 star CBN offered.

OP didn’t care for my post so he trots out Bobby S who was a 5 star 40 yrs ago. In essence a red herring to his post.

You coyld easily say a fellow Nease kid who also played QB and was a 5 star turned out ok. You know who I’m referring to, right?

Solar powered for noon kickoffs or fast charged between series for night games. I think a duel capability would be more efficient overall.

I live in Jacksonville. The coach at Bishop Kenny’s coach is a very good offensive coordinator. He has a quarterback who is a real stud. He is about 6‘5“ tall. He can run and throw it. Wake Forest and Iowa are at the top of his list. I hope the Gators take a look at him

Speaking of relatively unknown up and comers, I often wonder how Robbie Roper would have turned out with another year of growth. I really liked his game and his attitude. RIP. Such a sad story
