Right now, we could just as well be 1-4 as, 5-0. Four of our games could have turned either way. I can't complain about 3-2 at this point in the transition. Next year, we should expect more.
Agree, given the issues of this year, last year and even the 8-4 year, the simple fact is it's going to take a couple of years to get this thing headed in the direction we all hope. We are currently winless in SEC play and face a tough SEC road ahead. I don't know how it's going to work out but certainly the offense seems to be improving. Right now I'm hoping for bowl eligibility. Comes down to the defense I suppose. Maybe the youth movement will help a bit but the SEC is unforgiving.
Bowl eligibility is definitely achievable and desirable this year. Beating fsu is a requirement, though.
Some people forget that he's still only started like 6 games in college football. Also, he needs one more year before he's ready for the next level.
If AR is projected to go as early as many mocks have him (Top 10 ish) I don’t see him coming back. And he probably should go with his injury history.
If he plays well for the rest of the year and it’s consistent he can probably get drafted in MoveOn but I think with another year he will get to work on a lot of things and become a much better player for Sunday’s
Learn to read defenses better, get some more touch on his passes and improve accuracy...thats where he needs to be before he goes to the NFL. Otherwise youve got the next Jameis Winston minus the horrific personality and feral behavior. He really needs to learn the position a lot better or the NFL DBs will eat him alive.
I never pictured him as a career activist type, but maybe that is why he took the 15 out of his name.
I have a similar opinion, as well, but I won't say much. My brother is moving out of Alachua county, because too many are drinking the same Kool-Aid!
