When it comes to Covid disinformation, I do consider some opinions harmful. And while I obviously haven't blocked that poster, I fully understand why others have. Another reason for blocking posters is that they trot out the same lines over and over. No reason to read the same tired and useless content.

Neither Ivermectin nor Plaquenil are effective in the treatment of Covid. I don’t know how many studies have to come out about this fact before the Q crowd gets it into their head. I just can’t have a serious discussion with you because your talking points are just laughable at this point. You think you’re right and have “been proven correct” in your own little world, but not in the real world where actual scientific fact and statistics show otherwise.

I encourage you to ask yourself the question. Anything I suggest would not be as valuable as something learned through self-reflection. Obviously posters have felt a certain way, substantiating the question.

Do you not read what I write?

Don’t lie about my position. I have never said Ivermectin works. I have only said people should have been able to use it if they wanted to if their doctor gave them a script. Doctors were trying many different things during Covid.

Stop being so blinded by your biases and actually try to read and understand others positions. Even if it is different than yours.

Go look back through the Covid years. You will not find one instance where I say Ivermectin works as an effective treatment. You will only find my support of being able to use it with a doctors blessing and script.

You want to take new shot(s) unnecessarily at this point. Go for it. You don’t want to take ivermectin. Don’t. I don’t plan to ever take either for Covid. Ever.

I stand by all that I have said on this board.

    Again…

“And what in my opinion is worthy of being blocked?”

Tell me. Show me what I need to self reflect on.

I have people continuously misrepresent and lie about my positions. I don’t block them. But yes I will respond strongly to their dishonesty. If that is what you are getting at. That is on them for being dishonest.

I think you would have to ask the person that blocked you, which you cant, because they blocked you

This board viewership isnt large enough for anyone to have harmful (as to the general population) covid disinformation opinions. Different sure. Consistent and persistent (even if wrong) sure. But nothing truly harmful or block worthy. The uppity snots, partisan smartasses and insulting douchebags on this board are more worth blocking IMO. You can ask me who they are and I'll tell you. It's a very short list.

Hmm, so your standard for the vaccine is: a series of RCTs on every single sub-population that you could think of with gigantic sample sizes and years long observation periods to prove its efficacy and safety over long periods of time at the most granular level possible before ever handing it out to non-test subjects.

While your standard for Ivermectin is: #Shrug, maybe it works, whatever. Just pass out scripts.

I was asking the person who seemed to know. Thought maybe they talked to them…

    No.

My standard is the data shows I am not at risk for Covid. So taking a new drug that has now and had plenty of red flags with the rollout…was not going to be a good option for me. I have never had the thought that Ivermectin was an option. At the same time with decades of data on the drug…if I had ended up at the doctor for Covid and they sold me on taking it I might have. Knowing it was safe overall even if it did not work.

I was never one that would have planned to take the monoclonal antibodies. But I do think they were very beneficial during Delta. If I got Covid during Delta I would not have run to get monoclonals. I know many that did. I would have waited until I felt there was a legitimate reason other than a positive test. But that does not mean people were wrong for going straight for the treatment after a positive test. Just not what I would have done.
