Well, that’s more or less what I’m saying. Imagine if we had a new Ukraine thread every time there was news on that issue.

Trump and his lawyers must have an idea how difficult it would be to win. Maybe it’s for publicity going into 24?

My comment was a bad attempt at light hearted humor.

In honesty, I really wish we could stop with a lot of the petty nonsense threads on this forum (about Trump suing CNN, Desantis flipping hashbrowns for a photo-op, Desantis calling Fauci an elf, clips of Biden saying something absent-minded, etc.), but my expectations for thoughtful discourse are probably unrealistic for a political message board on a college sports website...

    Or just the next grift.

Donald Trump is fighting back against CNN and the media elite!

Can you send money to help him tell Fake News to "Fake Off"?

to donate $50 a week to the Supreme Leader's glorious crusade!*

*All money from donations will go to the Make Donald's Golf Balls Great Again initiative, and not actually to any legal fees or expenses related to suing or not suing anyone. Donations will renew and increase by $5 each week up to and beyond death of all donors.

Although it didn't occur to me you may be absolutely correct. While he may be a gross incompetent when it comes to both business and governance, one should never underestimate the skill of Donald Trump when it comes to creative ways to con his sheep-like followers.

    Quick -

Which would you rather have -

A dollar for every grain of sand on earth

    or

A buck for every dollar spent for and against Trump, considering past, present and pending litigation?

I'm not sure that, even the Trump loonies, have eough money to keep this con mans legal bills paid ...............

But thinking about his past - oh yeah........He seldom pays his bills..........

This is likely another delaying tactic for the documents case.

This lawsuit was filed by Trump's lawyer Jim Trusty the same day he said he couldn't expedite the documents review because he was too busy with other things.

What’s interesting is that Trump has a borderline impossible burden to show damages. Everything CNN has said negatively about Trump had been said, reported, tweeted, and commented countless times before. All of the allegations if wrongdoing were engrained in the public domain before CNN published the purportedly offending words (assuming they are not in fact true and assuming they are not opinion/editorial).

Additionally, he’d need to prove that people believed or independently influenced by the CNN reports. That, too, virtually impossible because Trumpians either don’t believe a word of CNN, and the balance of America had otherwise made up their minds on Trump-one way or the other.
