Love the Shaner..... He piloted some very good UF teams. Really like listening to his takes on the radio as well. Tells it like it is....

Went to class with emmitt and timmy paulk (the very few times they went to class).

 

Shane was very efficient. He proved accuracy is everything , at least in college. Smart , accurate, tough.
I remembered hearing his take on the radio before the 06 NCG. Frangie was talking about a conversation he had with Shane while on his show here in Jax. He said the coaches were very confident going into the game and felt like we would have our best O game against OSU. He also said something to the effect OSU had not seen a D line like ours all year and Mich's line wasn't close. He wouldn't be surprised if we won in a rout. Boy was he and our coaches right about that one.

 

I ran into Shane in a G'ville jiffy lube, got his autograph. He was chill about it.

 

Shane maximized his talent, IMO.

And he's a joy to listen to on 103.7
