    They say Bennett is a better player than Spurrier was in 66. I say BS. If Spurrier had that defense and 5* recruits all around on offense he would have 3 NC as a player.

    oh yeah that will really get them. They hate Spurrier so much it's not even funny and I LOVE IT!

    What Georgia fans are you referring to? I frequent quite a few Georgia boards, and I've never seen any comparison between Bennett and Spurrier. In fact, I'm not sure I've seen Spurrier's name even mentioned on a Georgia forum since he quit on South Carolina in 2015.

    I can't find the link where the guy UGAlum compared Spurrier to Bennett, but this is the link to the board. I don't have an account there because I was banned. But I read it all the time.

    Can't fight every single battle. Let him .... ahem ... rant.

    If you are keeping track, - Tebow, SOS, Danny W, and Trask were all better than Bennett. Bennet would not start over Trask or AR

    BTW Emmitt was a better RB than Heschel

    Bennett’s a good underdog story. I wonder how long it will take them to replace him if he continues to struggle. What he’s good at is scrambling around and making a play. Not sure if Beck is the answer either at this point.
