He has ears. But really… I don’t think he is in the inner sanctum…$100m plus the staff plus the new coach’s buyout…

The main problem is that Jimbo refuses to give up the play calling. And the boosters insist on it.

A couple of solid seasons at aTm would set Lane up to stroll into Birmingham when Saban retires.

It's really strange. Jimbo was a great coach when he had Jameis Winston. Just like Gene Chizik was a great coach when he had Cam Newton. What changed? Life is full of mysteries.

Dorrell was always a profoundly weird hire -- it was as though CU felt so burned by Mel Tucker bolting that they felt like they had to prioritize someone who would be "loyal," and so they hired a guy who was the wide receivers coach at Colorado in the early years of the Clinton administration.

Um, could it be Wisconsin's coach?

BTW, the lottery numbers for this Tuesday are 10, 23, 45, 47, 63 and the last number.....17.

You are welcome. Please share it with me when you win.

He hasn't been fired yet, but Brent Venables has reportedly left Norman, OK in the dead of night.

Matt Rhule is now available. He’ll get one of these jobs, imho.

I was wondering; Matt Rhule and Kliff Kingsbury, college coaches working in the NFL or NFL guys now?
Missouri AD should be using those back channel thing to measure Rhules interest.

I would think Kingsberry is an NFL guy now. Not sure on Rhule, but Kingsberry had a losing record at TTech. But has had some success in the NFL. Even if the Cards fire Kingsberry, he'd be a hot commodity as an NFL Offensive Coordinator, and some other NFL team will eventually hire him.

Rhule will go back to the college game and probably land a good gig. Kingsbury is too much of a soft pretty boy to go back to the grind of college coaching, imho.

The Wisconsin ex-coach has got to be hired fairly quickly. I hear people calling his name while watching football games each weekend.
