ACC GAME THREAD: (22) Wake Forest at (23) FSU, Saturday at 3:30pm on ABC

Anyone know how many top 10 or top 20 wins they have in the last 5 years..think it’s either one or zero.

 

This is the first of three in a row.

That was a good game. FSU still can't get out of their own way but they'll be dangerous. They've got speed. Regardless, this is where their schedule gets tough and they failed the first test - deflating that fan base is a good thing.

 

Hate them but they are improved from the disaster they have been. I will save any praise for another day though and just enjoy a loss. Past is the past but I still wish they had lost to lsu. People think them losing to unc and Clemson are sure things but I disagree. Clemson offense is terrible and UNC is UNC.

Anyway. Glad they can shelve the we're back crap for the time being.

 

I watched the Clemson/Wake game last weekend and theyre a really good and well coached team. They should have also won the game against a much better Clemson club. FSU doesn't have the horses like they used to...they have a few portal guys and a bunch of 3 stars playing for a very average coach who I watched bafoon himself against UCF twice when he was at Memphis. Think FSU is better but theyve snuck by with LSU just duncing themselves all night and Louisville nearly beating them. Not sure theyve shown me a convincing win in half a decade so I thought Wake the better club and they showed it today. Think FSU drops the next two too more convincingly. Lets not forget who they really are...about a 6 win team on a good year.

Honestly I really figured if they beat Wake today they would pronounce themselves National Champions.

 

They are very capable of beating UF

 

Next two games at ranked NC ST and Clemson at home. Three straight loses.

 

Yep...even USF was the better team when we played them...no reason FSU cant beat us however the good version of AR will give them fits and you can throw records away in a rivalry game. Whatever version of the Gators that played Utah (who is damn good) will beat FSU by 20. I will say this, our team has played some very good teams and been seasoned. FSU on the other hand has not played the level of competition we have...that is about to change.
