    make that 18 feet, highest ever recorded. It’s CAT5 already. The instruments haven’t caught up yet.

    I honestly wonder if there aren’t some politics in bumping it up that last 5mph. And it’s not like it matters much. It’s going to crush wherever it comes ashore regardless.

    By the way,
    The reason a new hurricane hunter aircraft is just now going back in is because the last HH plane had a 700 foot turbulence drop in the eye and had to turn around.
    Pilot said it was the roughest ride he’s ever had.
