True, and we'll probably see it, but I don't think it's a big % of guys flipping late after committing and should be smaller if it implies not only returning money but breaking up signed deals involving NIL, agent, and lawyer.

3* OT Tommy kinsler commits to UM, claims that he felt that he rushed the process back in June when he committed to UF.

Day is going to have to make changes if he keeps bleeding defensive recruits from Florida and losing battles elsewhere for top defenders. That could be a really lopsided roster soon.

I don’t think so. If I give a kid a contract to make an appearance every Friday at my place of business and he breaks the contract, we have a problem.

But it’s against the rules to sign a kid to a contract to go to a school. So if they even have a contract, if they take the kid to court over breaking it, the kid just turns the program into the NCAA. The NCAA is lazy and has no power to get info from programs and all that but if they were just handed evidence from a recruit I would think they would act at that point.

I was just reading a article by a buckeye writer earlier that said after a couple recruiting losses walker and a couple others, that losing Johnson and possibly Hawkins would have them in panick mode. Because they would hardly have any defensive recruits even though have the #1 class. Like you said, completely offensively lopsided.

They have also been losing out on some other top defensive targets to the big boy recruiters recently. Of course, despite our poor defense last year, theirs was shambolic and easy to negative recruit.

In the current quagmire of quasi-legal NCAA BS, it seems that there are no actual, enforceable boundaries on much of anything now. But one of the worst aspects of this whole mess is whether or not a recruit can even be legally signed to a "contract" (prior to enrollment) in the state of FL, or what recourse a businessman has if/when a kid reneges and skips town with his ill-gotten gains. Just another reason to detest the slipshod nonsense that passes for "adult supervision" these days. The "ancient" concept of a man's word being his bond is deader than Julius Caesar. At least Caesar occasionally pops up on the History Channel at 3 am between the infomercials and political ads. Integrity and personal honor? Not so much.

What are the kids even signing? What if there is a morals clause that requires repayment for arrest or null and voids contract? Arrest? Drug use? Assault? Kids need to be careful. Heard some contracts have 5 percent of earnings for life built in or 30 percent for agent/lawyer. Kids getting taken advantage of

    30% is pretty standard.

Agents get between 4 and 10 percent in the NFL and never get a percentage of lifetime earnings.

Listen any kid that has to settle a case in court or participate in depositions is very likely creating a documented and fully discoverable record of his written and verbal contracts, when they were executed and when money changed hands. Eligibility would likely be quickly lost in such circumstances. No kid or college program would want that to occur

Plausible deniablity is negated when contracts are born in the margins of legality. These teams that engage in such activities are exposing themselves to the legal microscope which rivals will be looking to exploit when possible.

They were quite literally safer when cheating from the shadows.

According to reports, Treyaun Webb has told reporters that there is more to come. For whatever its worth Webb also claims that the Gators will finish with a top 5 class easily.

There reports today that 4* LB Jaden Robinson (South Carolina commit) is in Flip watch to UF. Robinson secretly visited Florida 's Friday Night Lights and cookout.

Wasn’t much of a secret, lol. Seen in photos and videos all Friday evening. His teammate just decommited from SC, though I don’t think the teammate is UF caliber.
