    Why would a vaccine requirement for foreign travelers be authoritarian but a testing requirement not be?

    Im seeing outrage from the neo-prog left over anyone daring to question a bureacratic reg that seems to be counterproductive in a singular high profile case.

    Oh the outrage!!! :mad::mad::mad:

    "Shut your ass up, and do as Lord Fauci dun said, you dsmn whiners!!!"

    :rolleyes:

    The harsh truth is that the vax mandstes exist to protect Boomer.

    Period.

    The lesser generations are to shut their asses up, and wait until they finally fail to achieve immortality.

    ....oh, and *science *.... lol!

    (By which we mean that malleable cousin of statistics that can be manipulated into a cudgel for the benefit of whomsoever should require its use).

    A tour de france participant tested positive for COVID, they allowed him to continue to compete. He won the stage the day after he tested positive. Allow Joker to play the US Open, if you want to have restrictions on him I think he would oblige.

    I think they both are. My point was the testing requirement at least could potentially keep an infected person out of the country. Where the vaccine requirement is nothing more than an authoritarian power play as the vaccine does not stop Covid (especially now).

    That is just it. He should be allowed to compete even if he tested positive again like the Tour De France biker. This is a flu/cold at this point. 2019 athletes would play under the weather. Shoot…they will play under the weather today minus some leagues not allowing them if it is Covid. The crazy thing is they can be perfectly fine and have to sit if they pop positive for Covid. It is just dumb at this point.

    Except that it wasn't anyone on the left who started this thread. And Fauci wasn't the one who instituted the regulation. The rightwing got suckered by their own side and many paid for it with their lives.

    Djokovic is a looney bird when it comes to science. No wonder Q likes him.

    No. Just pointing out that Djokovic is someone who takes their health extremely seriously in order to compete at the highest levels of athletics. Since another poster thinks he is a “looney bird” on issues of science which was clearly a shot at the fact he has chosen to not vaccinate.

    It's not just that he's an antivaxxer. He's into all sorts of other quackery.
