Trump rips Elon Musk: “He Would Have Dropped to his Knees and Begged!”

My post was mere reciprocity for the broasbrush disdain aimed not just at Trump or Musk, but at those who basically dont have a problem with them.

Failure to rabidly hate Trump = worship.

...and now apparently not mocking Musk means you idolize him.

Im not an 'angry young man', but 'fanboys' and 'sheep' are more likely get some of the same from me, than high road diplomacy.

And i don't think that's me being irrational. Though admittedly, i could prolly stand to show a little more restraint, as you did in your reply to me.

no. i think denigrating people is wrong on either side but those terms pale in comparison to Trump's daily diatribes and personal attacks directed at anybody that dares to question him

 

While Trump and Musk are both egotistical a-holes the difference between the two is that Elon Musk is a truly accomplished innovator while Trump is a con artist with a long history of a failures. The reason that Trump hasn't completely failed financially is that he had the fortune of having a very wealthy father who bailed him out numerous times and in the end one real talent as a reality television star.

And one more item. Although Trump ran Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, his one publicly-traded company, into bankruptcy he still managed to pay himself $80 million in total compensation. Unfortunately for the company's shareholders the stock declined from a high of $35 a share down to around one dollar a share.

 

They are both con men and charlatans, its just that Elon's con appeals to a different set of people

 

Didn’t know that. But I also recall there was some spat because musk Said he had never vote for a Republican before and Trump said Musk told him to his face that he voted for him…. So I guess Trump is pissed about that, too.

Seems like a weird time for someone who has never voted for one to start to like Republicans, though, so it’s hard to tell what is true and what is fiction with either of these two.

 

Whether or not one likes Elon, Space X and Tesla are both innovative game changers. Speaking of Tesla although its EVs are receiving all of the ink, the company is also a real innovator in storage batteries, a keep element in the success of renewable but weather dependent sources of energy like wind and solar.
