    Fellow Too Hotters:
@GatorGrowl and myself decided to try an experiment and see if we could get a balanced group of Too Hot regulars to try to come up with a proposal to help address gun violence, primarily buy not limited to schools.

In a day or two we will post their results with a summary of their reasons and ask for you to vote for or against their proposal. While this took a little longer than we expected, we appreciate the efforts of all of those who took part in this and we can try similar groups for different issues in the future if the demand is there.

    Thanks to all who participated.

Applaud the effort and plan to participate but I do think words are important. I’m 100% on board for reducing gun crime. However, Over 50% of ‘gun violence’ is suicide. Also not interested in reducing law abiding citizens from using ‘gun violence’ To defend their homes. Bad dude breaks into house at night to do bad dude stuff and gets shot by resident, well, that’s good ‘gun violence’ All those stats are conflated and muddy. But yes I am onboard with suggestions to reduce gun crimes.

A mandatory 30 day wait period for automatic weapons coupled with full social media and criminal activity vetting would eliminate virtually all mass shootings without infringing on responsible owners.

It also doesn't clash with the 2nd amendment.

The feds are already sending more funding to help states with red flag concerns. This is right up their alley....

Mandatory gun ownership/use responsibility classes incorporated into the public school curriculum.

I would like to see licensing like for a car. You take classes in how to be a responsible owner take a test and you are good.

Oklahoma…. Byway we can define the terms a little more on the topic of limiting magazine(clip) capacity?
There is a huge difference between 15 round limit and a 3 round limit.
