Any good/great recruiting news for the Gators?

Needs to go where he wants to go. Enjoy another year in high school be big man on campus.
How do you know he won't get good coaching?
He looks like he has already had good coaching.
They can give him a workout plan to follow.
What ever he does Gator fans have his back.

 

He has Graduated high school! He is going to a 5Th yera high school prepatory school. He has excellent grades so that is NOT the reason he is going to a 5th year high school prep. He was going to improve his basketball stock. Well... he has a home now at Florida. He would be better served Redshirting and growing at a top basketball university instead of spending a 5th year in high school.

Unless he is looking to get a higher offer or the Gators think they can bag another player on the roster for this year and put him off a year.

 

There could possibly be another big that is ready to contribute this season on the radar.

 

Are you saying that he is going to a different school than the one he attended last year? I haven’t heard that.

 

This can only be the correct answer. He does not come unless 1) Golden told him to wait because his scholie starts next year or 2) he isn't emotionally prepared to leave home. I seriously doubt it is the latter.

 

I don’t believe that the kid goes to school on his home town. I also believe that the kid could use another year of prep school to get ready to play college basketball.

 

I wonder what happens if Golden doesn't use that last scholarship and we have a frontcourt injury? Could he move up his arrival to after the first of the year? Kansas always seems to have someone like that

 

Perhaps saving for an end of summer grad transfer? All other transfers would need a waiver.

 

Couldn’t there be some lesser known players in the transfer portal? There also are junior college players, high school players and foreign players.

 

There also is Keyontae Johnson.
