For those of you seemingly disagreeing with post b quoting it.

How many of those NCs were won by a team from the SEC recruiting outside the top 10 without great.QB play??

Without researching it, I cant think of one.

Clemson is the only team with outside the top 10 recruiting who won it all. Both their QBs were very high draft picks.

 

I’d guess there have been a few but it would take the great qb and some players that turned out better than their rankings. The last several years, it seems the top classes have been more top heavy than in the past also.

- Best Class (elite talent)

• Class Score: >278.0 (Top 6)
• Blue Chip Ratio: >0.57 (Top 7)
• Average Recruit Rating: >90.3 (Top 7)

- Weighted Average (roster depth)

• Class Score: >260.9 (Top 10)
• Blue Chip Ratio: >0.50 (Top 8)
• Average Recruit Rating: >89.1 (Top 11)

So in a 4 year period about a top 10 class average with at least 1 top 6 class.

 

These guys brainstorming all year and they came up with you need to recruit good players. I shouldd join their field. It’s close to being a meteorologist.

 

It depends on the NIL payroll that's being offered by other schools or not. : ).
