Not really. By the time a kid has played 3 years of P5 football he has demonstrated abilities, or lack of. High school on the other hand is nowhere near as reliable a proving ground - too many unknowns beginning with the level of competition

I don’t think dropping the requirement that prevents kids from playing in the nfl until 3 years after their graduating class leaves high school would do anything. The nfl is not going to cut any player on their roster to make room for a kid out of high school. It would be a super rare exception. Say, maybe and Adrian Peterson monster sized rb. But Rashada, Nico, etc would be lucky to make league minimum or even a practice squad spot coming out of high school straight to the nfl. Kids like this will make more off a college team cuz they have more value to the college. In reality, it is all inherent value since it’s mostly boosters paying a kid to help their favorite team along with hubris of the fan/booster.

Nfl could waive the rule but ain’t signing 18 year olds whose bodies and minds aren’t developed and aren’t capable of playing in nfl. Cormani, Arch Manning, etc. would struggle to make a practice squad out of high school and they are supposed to be the best players in the country.

    That's a strange visit list for a 5-star player.

Did the NFL not recently limit recruit contracts? SO once they prove their worth they can renegotiate a better one?

Yet there are still many first round busts. Being a great college player doesn’t even mean they make a roster.

And college could do that also if they wanted to make them contractual employees. For some reason, they prefer the boosters foot the bill.

They would get stashed on practice squads for a few years to see if they developed. Not many but the 5* guys more than likely. Especially qb’s.

Heitner has been sounding the alarm on this guy for a month. Some of his early June tweets now make more sense.

Kid had some serious mental health issues that he acknowledged. Hope he’s better and uses his football playing ability to help him out of it - staying near home or getting away, getting the treatment he needs, whatever.

On Ruiz, Rashada, or Caspino? All three are extremely sketchy.

Caspino’s angle is pretty obvious: publicize and exaggerate what Rashada got from UM and say he turned down even more money from UF.

Brings him more clients with the reputation as the best NIL getter in the country AND sticks it to the Gators for not playing the game that he’s incentivized by.

Caspino. If you go back and look at some of Heitner's older tweets he references (yet never names) a California lawyer.

And yes, you are right. Caspino talking to On3 is just self-serving--trashing UF and inflating the NIL figures--all of it.

And Miami's narrative is that we are making stuff up to save face....

Miami is scum on the same level as ref$u
I still hate Georgia as any true Gator should, but the level of dirt associated with scUM and ref$u is in a garbage bin all it’s own. The lowest of the low

He's a lying SOB. This is what NCAA got CFB into. Snake/greedy lawyers involved with this nil without check and balances. I mean, why are they representing recruits and acting like an agent? Is this a pro league? (I don’t how to use blue font)

He really is a POS. He had a tweet last night calling for Gator fans to "respect the decision." I'm fairly certain the vast majority of our fanbase has moved on but imagine the audacity to tell people to chill out while you fan the flames just to drum up your reputation.
