Going to FSU would mean that every call he makes that doesn't work will be criticised by a guy that made a HUGE number of CWS without winning a single one. Trying to defend yourself against that will turn the fan base against you. I think Link is too smart to take that job. But maybe he has the stones to try it.

No inside info but I think White ends up at FSU. Supposedly there is some bitterness about how he was passed over by UF (as he was by others) when being recruited out of HS and that may be an issue going forward. Again, just speculating but either way UF will be just fine in the portal as evidenced by the commit of Colby Thomas today.
Agree with you on FSU and we will know soon. On Colby Thomas-first he has to make it to campus and second he has to recover fully with the surgery. Could be a while before he can do anything.
