Might’ve worked out had he checked his ego and attitude, but he wasn’t willing to accept being a developmental player those two years. Glad he found his place at mid-major. Turnover machine in SEC.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. This had nothing to do with ego and attitude. Why invent a bunch of crap about something of which you are ignorant? He didn't need the development, which he certainly wasn't getting anyway. He was our only true point guard 2 seasons ago, and he didn't play. So why would he have expected to play if he had stayed for another season? What are we going to do about a point guard this coming season? We are stuck with 2 mid-majors at the point.

Lofton was a 3x all A-10 player, and that league is in a different class than Southern (that applies to Bonham as much as to Glover). If he is a “mid major,” then his tier is much closer to ours than it is to either Glover’s or Bonham’s.

i understand your point, but don’t think it applies to Lofton.

Sure Kyle Lofton played at a Mid Major last year, but I think its fair to say he was in the Top 50 of all point guards nationwide last year. Lofton may have been a lot higher than the 50th best point guard last year. He made the Final 20 for the Bob Cousy Award.

That's pretty solid. It stands to reason he'll improve a little bit next year under a new staff, playing against slightly better players everyday, getting a little bit stronger, and maybe most of all wanting to prove that he belongs with the big boys.

The Sourhern is a solid mid-major
Just to be clear, because I think that I am confusing things, I am very happy with the 2 mid-major point guards that Golden brought in. What I am unhappy with is the constant put down of Glover who happened to have a better season than the 2 guys we are bringing in and had his best games against the best teams on Samford’s schedule. For example, I watched both of Samford’s games against Chattanooga, and Glover clearly outplayed Malachi Smith in those games. Smith will be the starting point guard for Gonzaga next season and is a potential NBA player.

Should we consider starting a Glover board for all things Glover all year? Might help clean up a lot of these recruiting threads..

From now on everyone on these boards will be required to change their underwear every half hour. Underwear will be worn on the outside so we can check.

I'll guess DC Comics. All their characters wear their underwear on the outside.

Not sure who is the better player out of the three, but I would say that Glover has turned into an electrifying player. I always marveled at the guys who got so much elevation off the floor on their jump shots. Wilbekin has similar bounce when he’s shooting jumpers. His handles seem to have improved a lot, as well… lightning quick crossovers. I haven’t watched a full game of his since he left, so I don’t have a real picture of his impact on a game.

Just to be clear, I too am fan a big of Glover, that being said I do not have a Ques Glover shrine at my house.

I did not see Glover outplay Malachi Smith, that is very impressive.

Regarding the Bonham/Glover comparison, I can admit Ques had a better season the Bonham, but Bonham is a year younger. Bonham was also a different player after playing through a sprained wrist. It would be really fun to watch a Florida/Samford first round match up in March next year.

The underwear on the outside is from Bananas (the old Woody Allen movie). One of the best comedies ever. Woody plays an American who is fighting with revolutionaries in a Latin American country to overthrow a dictatorship. When the revolutionaries win, their leader, a Fidel Castro type, makes his victory speech and tells his countrymen that they will have to change their underwear every half hour. He also changes the official language to Swedish, which is another thing I would have done here if I was put in charge. See the clip below.

Just to be clear, the only shrine I have in my house is to Adriana Lima, and my wife is pissed off about it.
