He'll probably go to uga but he and his family had a great visit to UF. His dad was blown away by the coaches and the overall program. Never heard a parent speak so effusively about UF. He may have done that to make sure Smart was on his game when they visited Athens, though I'm sure he was speaking honestly about UF.

Gosh, I dunno, wouldn't we be lucky to get one? I am really watching to see if Demarkcus gets on the field this season. No doubt he's talented, but he might be sub 185. Pure RB, probably not. See what happens. I bring up his size because there's another lighter RB from whom we might be getting a visit. But I just don't think 180lb RBs are the same as guys that finish HS at 210. I really like Treyaun Webb for his size and versatility. Add one of the big RBs like Cedric Baxter and that's a haul.

Big kid. If he's the type that gets up and hits the hole with speed he's going to be difficult to handle.

    We'll get Webb.

Regarding Demarkus, he'll get his chance when he runs behind all or mostly starters on the OL. That line he was running behind in the O&B game was the much weaker half of the Gator OL. Napier's offense is pretty favorable for a fast, one cut RB. Lots of toss sweeps from the pistol formation with two TEs. If he doesn't get on the field, it's more a matter of having very talented RBs ahead of him. He could get used like Davis was the past two years or move to WR.

He needs to hold onto the ball. There’s a reason he’s fourth on the depth chart unfortunately. I do think he’s got potential to be great.

Do you mean the good ol' days when there was zero social media and no one had a cell phone so no one knew what the recruit or the school was doing or thinking until the list of commits was released.

And everyone just assumed the player went to a particular school because that is where he wanted to play.

Meant to say that three of the best RBs in the country were in Florida. Agree that we'll likely get just one. That might actually help us next year with Gibson.
