There's all kinds of stories. The only thing certain is that he has had cancer before, was supposed to have major abdominal surgery but put it off til after the parade for May 9th. Whether it's blood cancer, pancreatic cancer, thyroid cancer...no clue. I buy in that he's sick and this was part of cementing his legacy because timing wise it's all that makes sense.
