Not sure but it would be more interesting if White doesn't want them and they wanted to come to UGA with him.

I have no connections of any kind but thought worth mentioning old poster Bullis thinks we may land Okie shooting guard Mo Gibson as a transfer. I think thats the name. Transferred to OU from someplace like Texas state. 4 year career average of 40% from 3pt range is he big draw here I think.

(if I’m not allowed to share thoughts someone posted on another message board please let me know. It’s not an insider story or from a reporter so to mr just a rumor)

I hope this happens, but he has more than one offer. Solid P5 player for sure. He has ties with K State. UF needs to close quickly. This guy can shoot the 3!

What’s the latest on Kyle Lofton and Osun Osunniyi? Did they visit over the weekend?

In an interview today Golden mentioned to expect an announcement within a few days about an addition to the roster. Think he mentioned a guard position.

    Thanks EoW!
What's not to like about this! Can't do much better I would say, like to see him sign a high school stud for sure but what a great start coach Golden has gotten off to, both with putting together a nice staff, securing key parts of the existing roster, and maximizeing the transfer portal.
Kudos to a great start. And not finished yet! Just reading recruiting threads here, he has the interest of some great kids out there.
    Thanks Coach!!!

After initially considering 35 programs, or roughly 10%, of all NCAA Division I basketball teams, Washington State's Efe Abogidu is down to thee schools (Arizona, Maryland & Florida) in addition to a return to Washington St.

Efe Abogidi down to 4 schools and one of them is WSU

Would be a solid addition. Was only a Sophmore so may have up to 3 yrs left of eligibility due to Covid. Over 50% FG%, 1.8 BPG, 5.8 RPG last year and a career 80% FT% Gators need another big and would be the Center of the future.

Totally agree that we need another big, not one that necessarily has to start, but someone that can be developed while Castleton is in town. Golden has a strong reputation attracting international players and he may be a great option.

I loved Brooks coming out of high school, but he has underperformed over 3 years. We need a guy who can play the 5. Abogidi is the guy who I want. He has very nice form on his shot. He is lightning quick off his feet. Lousy footwork with his back to the basket, but that can be worked on. He can definitely be on the floor with CC to give us a poor man’s Noah/Horford combo. Most importantly, in the great tradition of Gator basketball, no one is going to spell his name correctly.

We have a very good transfer class coming, hopefully another big. Check out LSU’s class with their new coach. Another great portal class.

Actually LSU is one behind us on that list due to 6 transfers instead of 4. Their per-transfer average is a lot closer to Georgia than us.
