Some might find this 15min podcast of interest. This is one of the few podcasts I listen to on daily basis Mon - Sat.
May 9th, 2022. American Generals Keep Pushing US Closer to War with Russia.
It’s May 9th. You’re listening to the President’s Daily Brief. I’m your host and former CIA Officer Bryan Dean Wright. Your morning intel starts now.

First up, America’s spies and Generals are pushing us closer to war with Russia. I’m going to explain how, and why they might be doing it.

Your second brief, Democrats have a big protest planned today at the home a Supreme Court Justice, all because of the Roe v Wade debate. We’re going to talk about violence that some organizers are encouraging.

Remember the Russian chemical attack on Ukrainian troops that turned out to be hay fever ?

For a madman dying of six types of cancer and going out with Parkinson’s ... Putin seemed amazingly lucid, hearty and steady during his speech yesterday.

Canadian “Super Sniper” returns home with disheartening account of how war is going for Ukraine ...

I’ll clarify. I was addressing the bolder part of your post. I’m glad U.S. generals and intelligence leaders are pushing the President to increase military pressure on Russia and our preparedness for inevitable war with Russia. I think our failure to take certain obvious steps, short of general war, to put Russia in the horns of a strategic dilemma has been inexplicable, inexcusable, and deeply shameful to this country.

Yeah, I know. It’s ugly over there. But despite all the ugliness and you throwing everything but general mobilization against a smaller, weaker country … you’re still losing. Or at least not winning, which is the same thing in this kind of war. And, worse, every day that passes without victory brings you one closer to the mistake, intentional or unintentional, that stokes the flame of international outrage to a breaking point that even our do-nothing Administration cannot ignore. If you like struggling against an army of butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers, you’re going to love what an alliance of professional warfighters does to your disgusting, vastly overrated war machine. So keep that shit talk coming.

You know, I hope as much as any morally outraged American that Putin is suffering from some sort of terrible, painful, slowly debilitating disease … but at the same, oddly, I hope your suggestion that he’s a picture of perfect health for a man his age is spot on. If there’s even a chance he is to meet an unnatural end in the near future, then I would like him to be “lucid, hearty, and steady” when he does.

I wasn't sure if you were commenting about the content of the podcast which offers a point of view as to why the generals are acting in this manner. At any rate I believe we both know where we stand about US troops on the ground in Ukraine and why. No need to rehash on that account.

Half of my family is from Canada. They produce some excellent snipers and great military men. My great Uncle flew in WW2. He is one of my greatest heros and was a great man.
