The the two freshmen played very well in their minutes today.
kowacie has now gotten a starting role and Kennedy off the bench with 5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist in limited minutes.
Kennedy, played nine minutes, can be a good 2 guard option, and with more minutes his play is coming on. Think Elijah Kennedy getting double or triple the minutes, could be our best scoring guard. The results from today’s game show that playing a lot of guys paid off for Coach White. I know I have beat this drum along with a lot of fellow NBN’s. Maybe we could get a remote job on analyzing the teams play, LOL!
These two guys have good skills as basketball players and hopefully CMW is now more comfortable playing his bench and keeping fresh
    bodies on the floor.

I agree, it's time to get those guys enough minutes to build for the future as well as contributing this season. We have a couple of top people coming in next season and you just can't keep these guys lolling on the bench.

What do you think is Reeves’ natural position?

Small forward, due to him still growing and getting stronger as evidenced by him getting steals, rebounds and saves. He is better at scoring when he gets set, very good form on his shooting stroke as evidence by his ft’s. He can guard big guards but it would take away his strengths, shooting, getting steals and even rebounding. I believe that was his position tonight and it seems the coaches know his strengths. I knew it was just a matter of time for him to show out. After tonight, opposing teams will have to take account of where he is on the floor.

Should make us a better team. Kennedy also looks ready to help along with JJ. Just needed coaching

Jitoboh looked good today, his best game of the season, in my opinion. I don't keep my fingers crossed any more when he enters the game. So much better than last year.

I read no one gets better under White. Yes White fan, never will blame a coach for miss open shots or free throws as all of them shot plenty of shots every day.
Now if no one gets open that's on coach. No defence that's on coach.
We are a PG from being very good hoping Appleby plays like today. 6,asst 2TO will take that. Might be only White fan but by end of year hope we have plenty more.

I can’t like this enough. We need more guys in the rotation for the style of play we like to run. Also, if a rotation isn’t working let’s try something different and that is exactly what Mike White chose to do. Hope the freshman can play more meaningful minutes and can contribute as the season goes.

Props to McKissic who started at PG today. Even though Appleby had a better A/TO ratio today, McKissic seemed to settle things down and not look so out of control at key points of the game. I like my guards like Taurean Green that run the offense and incorporate all the players on the floor. Certainly McK is far from TG but he seemed to make better attempts at what plays they were trying to run instead of just drive and dish at the under 10. Even better McK doesn't put up desperation threes while jumping sideways and falling out of bounds.

I'd like to see a lot more of Kennedy and at least a little bit more of Gatkek.

Udonis Haslem used to use straight back corn rows. That might be better, but I am not going to tell him, whatever works for him. Go Kowacie!

Not sure about that. Look at our football bowl game as an example. Plenty of receivers were open as a result of the plays called, yet the players on the field at the time couldn’t execute. The job of the coach is to put players on the field that can execute the called plays. A missed open shot is still an empty possession, especially when the same players are consistently struggling to hit that shot.

Additionally, those players may be open for a reason, i.e. the opposing team is willing to take a chance with leaving those players open in order to take away CC. White seemed to extend the bench to give other players a chance and hopefully that continues, as those players delivered. That is all anyone has asked of White, which is extend the bench and give the younger players a shot.

Me too. Apparently, he was humbled early on by all the upper classmen, but he has earned his minutes by learning the finer points of the game, you don't get in high school.
