OMG. One’s a deterministic process & one is not. Everyone should always doubt the justice system. It is not designed to find the truth. It’s designed to test the null hypothesis of not guilty.

Fortunately, the President's power of pardon doesn't extend to convictions in state courts although if they are tried and convicted of the pending federal charges a pardon is a very real possibility should Trump end up back in the White House.

Judging by the way the corrupt police department and corrupt district attorneys initially tried cover up this murder, these murderers were about to get away with lynching this man. But yay, justice system for doing its job, I guess?

All the posts about how Arbery cause his own death and McMichaels were just concerned citizens performing a citizens arrest and defending themselves from an aggressive thief go into the trash where they belong too.

Reminder that the local DA didn't investigate, the DA the case was then transferred to actively recommended no arrests, and Greg McMichael released the video himself because he thought it would help his case.

They were arrested by state authorities 74 days after the killing.

The judge said in court on the record that their appeared to be intentional discrimination in jury selection. Defense lawyers said the presence of black pastors in court would intimidate the jury. William Bryan's attorney literally said in court there was no case if not for the video.

I wonder what would have happened if systemic racism did still exist.

Pro Tip: If you are ever involved in a shooting, shut your ***ing mouth and let your attorney do the talking.

This was a modern day lynching. I hope they throw the book at these POSs. And I wish there were some consequences for the officials that somehow decided this was ok.

Yup. The corrupt network in that town was getting ready to help the murderers cover up this crime, until the national media put an intense spotlight on case. Then there was nothing they could do to save their hometown citizen arresting heroes. But we're supposed to sit here and be impressed at the justice system. LOL!

Good question. Maybe @GatorFanCF can tell us when the corrupt district attorney who would've sabotaged this case will face her punishment, since his beloved justice system gets everything right.

Their reaction will probably be "Justice was served" aka the same reaction MAGA nation had towards the Rittenhouse verdict.

    Imagine that. Justice is served.

I don’t think we’ll see any “protests” or activism happening after this one.
