DOD got his one out yesterday as well. A bit less exciting than Z’s two RBI (including that solo blast) but that was all DOD was charged to do.

I was falling asleep with a tied Braves/Dodgers game and went to bed. Doing a lot of yardwork and dog walking does it for me.

And I have no love for either team.

I did stay up to see the finale of the Rays game seven though. I kind of like them as an underdog. The Dodgers have a lot more money to spend on players, but the Rays are a nice team.

And it would be cool if both the Lightening (NHL) and the Rays both won it all. Ain't no way the Bucs will make it a hat trick in spite of kicking the chit out of the Packers. A team that loses to a deeply flawed Bears team ain't going very far.

The 21 option for DOD was not exercised by the Braves. It was 3.5 million. 500K buyout.

May the good Lord guide his doctor’s hands and wishing Alex nothing but the best outcome.

Just remember, there are no shortcuts—be very dedicated to your rehabilitation protocol. Best of luck with this as you continue your baseball career!

    Greg—

I always thought the same thing, but when Alan signed with them I learned to tolerate’em (for eight years anyway)....

    India went 2-3 today.

Singer takes the mound tomorrow for the Royals.

Not a good outing by Brady. He gave up 5 ER in 3.1 IP.

With the long hair and goatee, I almost didn't recognize him! But after being drafted so high, I'm glad to see him get off to a good start in the big leagues. (It's only been three games, but he's 5-11 at the plate.)
