I am listening to a podcast now that goes into his long history. Wow. Even crazier than I realized. According to him, and obviously this should be subject to extreme skepticism, his sister had to tell him to stop jumping out in front of trucks, that God would choose someone else, because God was so intent on saving him because of his future plans. And he also says that it was his drug dealer that scheduled an intervention because he realized that God had a special plan for this crazy white guy with a mustache and that they should stop selling drugs to him

I wonder if Fox will raise the Tucker Carlson defense again, i.e. that their opinion stars are entertainers rather than journalists and shouldn't be taken seriously. Considering that at least one prospective purchaser of a Dominion Voting Systems product has already cancelled an order I'm not sure whether that rationale will work again. Don't know whether it will happen or not, but I'd love to see Dominion sue the former president.

 

Of course they will. Powell raised the defense. Of course, Powell is mot an entertainer, she was the “seasoned” lawyer who claimed, IN HER CAPACITY AS THE LAWYER, to have access to mountains of evidence that proved the Dominion conspiracy. Forget for the moment that 30 million people believed her (all unreasonable according to her), she doesn’t get the same benefit as Tucker Carlson, because she claimed to be THE SOURCE. Her publications to the media and to the roaring crowds were made with the express intent that they be relied upon and were based on actual facts. Not opinion. Indeed, she raised millions of dollars to support the legal find based on these lies.
