Respectfully, I'm not sure if I'd call that an insult as much as I'd simply call it an observation... :D

You're correct... disagreeing with someone doesn't make them mentally ill... Protesting by hostile takeover of someone's office because they disagree with you...

I don't know... there's lots of words that can describe that sort of behavior... Mentally ill... I'd say that's a pretty generous way of putting it... :D

No worse than having Bill Clinton or no worse than Dem on the board judging kavanaugh taking money donations from Senator Tom Carper (D) Delware who hit his wife and gave her a black eye he also slapped around and bruised his small children Feinstein accepted $5,000.00 and Hirono accepted $1,000.00

Could someone translate here? I have no idea what he's saying in context. Also, sure seems you're admitting that you have nothing to back up your claims whatsoever.

So consensual sex between two adults is = to attempted rape?

Nothing about that group sounded or acted in a hostile fashion.

It is not an "observation" to call them mentally ill and dangerous. I don't know if this is some narrative being pushed on Fox or on alt right sites, but it's patently silly.

Mentally ill and dangerous describes those nut jobs in Abilene shooting people over what got put in a dumpster.

She has therapist notes, a therapist, a husband, and friends providing corroboration. That's a credible accusation in my book.

That's not even remotely true. The mid-term election isn't until early November, yet the Committee attempted to schedule a hearing just days after she came forward. The Committee has pretended to be accommodating while being nothing close to it. The Republicans on the Committee are behaving themselves for the optics, but they aren't being accommodating in the slightest.

This is totally irrelevant to the thread.

Bill Clinton is a rapist, but it's wholly irrelevant to the thread. Let's not go down that rabbit hole.

The Republicans just won a seat in Texas that has been held by Democrats for 139 YEARS and the best part is the district is 73% Hispanic and Afro American . Sounds like the voters are already being heard

Notice there was almost three year gap between Kvanaugh being nominated to the DC Circuit and being confirmed. Democrats were filibustering his nomination for three years. If this accusation had happened back then, it is likely his nomination would have been withdrawn.

LOL. We'll see what happens next month.

Yep. Moore and Trump both came out in support of Kavanaugh.

This is off-topic, but I'm not sure that state legislative seats is really a well that you want to go down. Democrats have gained 43 state legislative districts since Trump was elected.

Another reason for Roy Moore to pop up in this thread. Congratulations, you're using the Roy Moore defense. It's also the Bill Cosby defense.

Both mental illness and the potential danger presented by activities of those who suffer from same ...... are not a static measure that can be specifically gauged ..... as there are ranges of severity for both.

And to characterize the apparent mental health of a specific group of people based upon their actions, behavior is an observation. And, it’s not unreasonable to believe that a group of people who need to commandeer the offices of US Senators do suffer from an impulse control disorder.

You and I may not agree on that assessment but such disagreement does not render my opinion/observation incorrect, or an insult.

Now, back to the issue at hand. Has the Senate Judiciary Committee agreed (caved) to the demands of the Ford camp or ..... did the counter with revised conditions?

The Judiciary Committee vote was scheduled for the 20th. That date was scheduled before the Dems decided to throw their little turd into the punch bowl. No revision of facts to support your lame argument. Gator715 is correct. The Republicans have been more than accommodating even if there was any evidence presented to lay this turd on.

She just happened to perfectly described Kavanaugh six years ago without using his name. It was a dastardly conspiracy she cooked up and has been sitting on for years.

Like I said, a dastardly conspiracy conceived of in 2012 to save her marriage and ruin the life of Brett Kavanaugh, a random former acquaintance who never did anything to her.
