Gainesville, named after General Gaines. A general who did a good deal to decimate the Seminole Nation during the Second Seminole War. What remains is a small band in Okeechobee and Oklahoma and Crappahassee. Today, the fight goes on. It is only a matter of time till their current Chief, Old LiverSpot Bowden Bowlegs is finally done in, and the Seminoles will finally pass away into history. GO GATORS!!!!
