Hey, I hope you and your family are safe. Many of my friends and fam got hammered by Sandy but all are alright, thankfully.

Thank You Jersey for your insight. I see the commericals with Rudi endorsing Christie, but really have no knowledge of the record of either one of these individuals. I just see the major thing being taxes right now living in Monmouth County.

was wondering if you made up your mind on a NJ Republican Gubernatorial candidate yet between Lonegan and Christie. I read some poll that Corzine is beating both of them although I can't see how.

It sounds like the public school might be the best bet for both your daughters. Having a teacher's aid is one of the most significant accommodations you can get. With the exception of therapeutic schools that specialize in neuro-developmental issues, private schools are not well suited to deal with ASD/PDD. One piece of advice I can give you right now is to do everything you can for the next two years. Things get really challenging from a standpoint of perceptual learning and executive function in the 9th grade. My son has had a very difficult time his first year in high school so far. The middle schools here did not sufficiently prepare him. The kids he knows that went to the therapeutic school we wanted him to go to are doing quite well.
