Great name. Western Steer? Wow. One of my mentors growing up was Marc Jackson from across the street at Jackson Building Supply. He and his brothers were good to me and took me to church out at Pine Level with Roman Alvarez. Gordon Smith is the sheriff there and we graduated together. It is a small world.

I grew up in Starke. Went to Starke Elementary, Bradford Middle and High Schools. It's an accomplishment to grow up there and not work at or be in prison.

I graduated in 1985. Live in Jax now.

class of 77, lol, I did work two years at FSP. so far I've avoided living there.

My father worked at FSP and managed the tag plant out there when it was in existence. We lived downtown near the Baptist Church on Clark Street. Still have family there and lots of friends. My name is Ed Tennant and my mom was the manager of the Tenneco then the Texaco that was on the corner near the Baptist Church and Winkler's Appliance.
