The Tony Rezko trial will also be problematic for Obama. Saddam Hussein's money launderer and arms dealer Nadhmi Auchi may have indirectly helped to finance the purchase of Obama's house, saving him up to $300,000 according to some reports. The London Times has reported that Auchi met Obama at the Four Seasons Hotel in 2004. Obama says he has no memory of that meeting and one of his spokesmen denies that Auchi indirectly helped finance the acquisition of the Barack's home.
