As far as bikes are concerned Trump probably isn't even capable of riding a bike. Remember he routinely parks his golf cart on the green because he is too lazy to walk 20 or 30 feet. As far as crashing an economy is concerned Donald Trump is in the process of doing so in real time.

 

In other words they have the good sense that it's not a good idea to antagonize a guy with an extreme form of narcissistic personality disorder with the more rational strategy being to praise him and tell him what he wants to hear. They are listening because they (wisely) respect the great power of the United States. Not of Trump. And they know that Trump is willing to use abuse that power depending on his childish vendettas, allegiance to Putin, and whims.

It's like having an irrational, bad-intentioned baby gorilla in your living room and no weapons or way of leaving. You're left with trying to avoid it and appease it, and just hoping that it does as little damage as possible before it walks out in 3.5 years.
